Archie

Archie may not have had the best start to life, but he now loves exploring with his cousin, Captain.

We asked his mum, Kimberly, to tell us all about him.

Tell us the story about how Archie came into your family.

Archie was rescued from a little island, only accessible by boat called Sointula, BC.

He came from a house with an unfortunately irresponsible owner, long story short she has been known to be abusive.

Archie broke free at 6 weeks old!

Cutest little orange furball with a little kinked tail!

Tell us the story behind Archie's name?:

Named after Archie Andrews from the Archie comics.

What is Archie's favourite thing to do?

Eat, go for car rides, and torment his sister Dominica.

What kind of adventures does Archie go on?

Archie’s favourite is the beach, he loves watching the waves and following his dog cousin, Captain.

Tell us about your most memorable adventure.

Archie’s first time to the beach!

His paws made a little squish noise as he walked on the sand, he chased the kelp, and even walked through the water.

Why did you decide to train Archie?

Because I wanted a dog, but I’m allergic.

So I got a “dog” cat that likes to adventure.

How did you train Archie?

He’s very food motivated for one.

The rest is just him wanting to explore the world.

What has been the most rewarding part of having a catexplorer?

He’s just my little sidekick, he doesn’t miss a beat!

He gets to have more fun than most cats.

What has been the hardest?

He is a bit too adventurous sometimes...

What advice would you give other humans training their catexplorers?

Start them as young as possible, and make sure they know how to listen before going on big adventures.

Cause you know, cats have selective hearing.

What are your favourite products for Archie?

Temptations make him listen, specifically tuna flavour.

Is there another Catexplorer that inspires you?
